SENIOR WOMEN'S TEAMS COACH   Tess Kelley & John Antonecchia 9th March 2008

The Ste-Anne's RFC Board is pleased to announce the latest appointment to the Ste-Anne's coaching team, and coach of the 2008 season Women's teams: Jonathan Chiniborch, a.k.a. Chinny. Chinny is a young, enthusiastic and determined individual who will be a major asset to the development of the Clubn's women's program. He joined the Ste-Anne's Club in 1995 and unfortunately, while he valiantly played through several injuries, he had to retire prematurely due to a knee injury. In addition, he coached the St-Thomas HS boys team to 4 league championships as coach from 1999-2002.  His extensive Rugby background includes:

St-Thomas High School: 1996-1998

John Abbott College: 1998-2000 (MVP in 2000)

Concordia University: 2001-2002 (Rookie of the year, MVP)

Montreal Menace/Caribou: 2000-2003

Canada U23 Academy: 2002-2003

A versatile player, Chinny has played every position in the pack, as well as scrum half, fly half and inside center. Over the years, he has assisted in coaching several stalwarts on SABRFC men's teams, including Andrew (Shaggy) Newnham, Robert Austen, John (Mini Chinny) Antonecchia, Matthew Degraff, and Aaron Graham. Under his guidance these player's were elevated to a status within the club usually reserved for rock stars or Grillo.

Jon also enjoys golf, magazines, collecting seashells, and long walks on the beach. We are excited to have Chinny back out at the pitch and know he will bring contagious energy to our Club.

WELCOME BACK!!!
