STE-ANNE'S HOSTS BEAVERS IN PRE-SEASON EXHIBITION
Clubs Build on Strong Ties
On 3rd May weekend, at Loyola Campus of Concordia University,
Ste-Anne's fielded an Under 21 team (with much help from Nick C and the
Caribou), plus a Senior Men's and Senior Women's side to play against their
counterparts from Brampton Ontario. The matches were part of a tour by the
Beavers to Montreal, and the games further cement the bonds between the 2
Clubs. By all accounts, the visitors had spent an enjoyable evening in
Montreal on Friday night, a fact confirmed by the

STE-ANNE'S PREMIER WOMEN'S TEAM OFF TO STELLAR START
With both teams earning victories this weekend, the
Ste-Anne's women are off to a stellar start to the season. TMR may well have
been without three of their star players, but the Ste-Anne's victory was
comprehensive.
In the premier game, Ste-Anne's elected to kick off,
playing from the Eastern end of ESG field. Strong pressure caused an error, and
from the ensuing scrum Ste-Anne's moved the ball wide right. Jesse Matiaszuk
came into the line from full-back.

BRYCE DOES NEWCASTLE AND A MATCH VS
TIGERS
This weekend I decided to make my way to
the northern part of England to visit my boyfriend. No it wasn't Matty or
Phelan!! He's far smoother, and you might have seen him in such events as: The
Six Nations, the Lions tour to New Zealand, or during the dying seconds of the
2003 World Cup!! You may even remember seeing him on the Ste-Anne's website with
our very own Sommer. Yes. His name is Johnny Wilkinson!! So, I hopped on a
train and made the 3 hour journey up to Newcastle in North East England,

letter from abroad, finds a favourite son jet-setting about the European
continent. 3rd May 2008
Hey!!! all at at SABRFC, I hope you all
had a good Easter. I miss you all, except
Matty of course. In England, the universities take a 4 week Easter
break in the middle of the academic year.
So, I took this opportunity to tour around Europe with Kim. What a trip! We started our adventure
in Dublin on February 16th. When
we got to Ireland's capital, the city was packed with St. Patrick's day
activities. Just walking down the

HELLO SAB! NZ IS AWESOME. 24th April 2008
Today is the first day back from my
mid-semester break and in about 45 minute’s I will be listening to game 7
Habs vs Bruins over CJAD.com. Over the mid-term break a few buddies - Adam
(the Montreal one), Sebastian (Adam’s friend from Lasalle who is here
visiting), Adam (the American one), and Will (from Nottingham), and I, took
off for the South Island without any real plans other than to see some of
New Zealand’s natural beauty, to see at least one Rugby

GOOD FUN, FOOD & FUND RAISING - HUDSON
CURLING: Social is clean sweep
29th April 2008
Hudson Quebec: The Hudson Legion Curling arena; Home of the 2008 Masters
championship team. On Saturday 27th April, the curling was as competitive
as ever, but the clientele was a little different. Rarely do you get to take
over a curling rink for 8 hours, so SABRFC members took full advantage. The
games were close and Scotsman Ben played a starring role, as one might expect of
a man from where the game originated. He made some Briar quality shots, while
there were a few other surprises: the Lery Goodfellow clan looked excellent

TUCKERMAN RAVINE 2008:There and back between hockey games.
Perfect Weather, Snow, and
Parking It all adds up
to a classic Tuck’s weekend 19th April 2008
It was a
good night to blow out of Ste-Annes. I was losing in poker and the habs had
just gone down to Boston 5-1 in game 5. Not much would have stopped us anyway
as Terry and I had been talking about Tucks for weeks. Sonnel, an experienced
hiker, had previously trekked all around Mount Washington, including a four
day hike that got him to the peak of the northeast’s highest mountain. But he
had never

REPORT NO.6 HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL
by P.Parker
Our reporter shows a group of high school
students around Europe and manages to teach them a little about life, while
still learning a bit himself. 10th April 2008
Greetings friends, from the land of Paprika, sour cream and large naked men
taking baths together. Yes, I'm in Hungary, Budapest to be exact. I am only now
recovering from my three week adventure through Europe with 107 high school
kids, and I apologize for the lateness of this report. However, as Phelan's
report proves,

LAST SKI OF 2008: Snow Slows
Outdoor Training 9th April; 2008
Gym training will continue through April
for the men's and women's teams as snow still cloaks playing fields. It's hard
to believe that the Caribou men leave in just two and a half weeks for a spring
tour to Vichy, France. Supporter forms are available at 23 St-Pierre if
you would like to make a (tax-deductible) donation. The snow allowed one last
ski on the Rigaud Mountain trail. At 15 kms this trail should be a
popular training site next

MARCH MADNESS: Notes from a Snowy Home Front by Hemingway 23rd March 2008
Reports from abroad (no that doesn't mean
from Florence), have helped erase midwinter blues here. Most recently news came
from Phil David. But, for those with the right outlook, the wealth of snow has
been a real bonus. Here we present some shots of just how high the snow banks
are, for our exiles to enjoy. But, it is also to encourage readers to get out
and enjoy these last days of a fine winter. This weekend, we discovered a new ski
trail, one of the most beautiful trails ever, and well set with a double track.
And as a bonus, it's
